Birthday

Hi Everyone!  I pray you all are having great week, I know I am.  Just been busy the past few weeks.   We have been enjoying the last bit of summer before school began.  I can't believe how time flies.  It seems like yesterday I was taking my son to  his first day of Kindergarden and this past week he started is senior year.  Wow!  Sometimes you wish time you could stop time and enjoy them just the way they are for alittle while longer.  Oh well, enough of me being all sentimental.
The card I have today is a bithday card.  Just love the way it came out.  I totally love the pattern paper.  It is the Glitter Stack by DCWV.
Well that's all for today, need to run some errands before it gets too late. Thanks for dropping by to see what I have been 'dabbling' in.

God bless and take care.

Life...

We recently found out that friends of ours got some unsettling news and are going through a rough time right now.  Part of me hates having to make these type of cards but the other part is so glad that I am able to touch someone life in such a personal way.  There is nothing like making a card from the heart to let someone know that they are not alone - that someone cares.

I tend to make this type of card monochromatic, simple but elegent.

Take care and God bless for now.

The Store

I can’t believe that it is almost six months since I opened my ‘store’.  It has been slow, but things are picking up.  I have been trying to get ready for Christmas.  I know, you’re thinking “Christmas in August!”  But I have to in order to make sure I have everything ready.  I LOVE the Christmas season.   I don’t want to be rushing around at the last minute.  Here are a few of the sets that I have been working on…

I tend to keep everything monochromatic with a few pieces of mixed colors.  My 'business' started out of a desire to have pieces that I liked and could wear.  I am allergic to nickel and I like simply designs and colors.  So, that meant that a lot of the costume pieces where pretty much off limits.  Plus the real stuff can get pretty expensive.  Well, a friend showed me how to make my own and I soon started making sets just because I enjoyed making them.  Since I can't wear everything I make (okay, maybe I could), I thought that there might be others who would enjoy them too.

Well, that’s enough babbling for today.  I’ll be back later with more cards and/or jewelry, so check back and see what I come up with while I'm 'dabbling'.

I hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping by.

God bless and take care,

Jacque
